After these years working as a photographer in the Riviera Maya, I feel comfortable when I have a session on the beach. But, when I had to photograph another professional, I must admit that I felt completely out of my comfort zone. Fortunately it was one of the best experiences I've ever had.
Christa Schiessl came to Playa del Carmen with her husband, and I must tell that I couldn't be more fortunate to exchange a photo session with such a fun photographer.
The bad thing was that those days most of the beaches on the area had lot of sargassum, but after doing some research I was able to find a place perfect for the session. And I couldn't be more happy with the results!
I met Christa and her husband in downtown, and then we drove to Punta Esmaralda, a beach north of Playa del Carmen. I was pretty nervous at the beginning, but after we started with the first shoots, things came along.
Before her second outfit, she did a photo photo session with me and my partner in life. She made us feel completely comfortable, and that was amazing because I'm really shy in front of the camera. Being in the other side of the lens was eyeopener as I was in the shoes of my customers. This experience give more ideas and a wider vision for my work.
